A man has been arrested by the police in Akwa Ibom State for allegedly attempting to sell a stolen block-making machine valued at N2 million.
The suspect was apprehended after police investigations linked him to the sale of the stolen equipment.
The block-making machine was reportedly stolen from its owner before the suspect attempted to dispose of it.
Police authorities said the arrest was part of ongoing efforts to combat theft and other criminal activities in the state.
The suspect is expected to face further investigation and possible prosecution in accordance with the law.
The police also urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to security agencies to help curb crime in their communities.
