The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has announced a new set of appointments into his campaign organisation as preparations intensify for the 2027 governorship election.
According to a statement issued on Thursday in Ibadan and reported by Punch Newspaper, the appointments followed the earlier selection of Chief Yemi Aderibigbe as the Director-General of the campaign organisation, a move aimed at strengthening the party’s electoral structure ahead of the poll.
Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District in the Senate, said the newly constituted campaign team reflects his commitment to building an inclusive and effective organisation capable of mobilising support across the state.
He explained that the appointments were carefully made to bring together experienced politicians and grassroots mobilisers who would coordinate campaign activities in different parts of Oyo State.
The APC candidate expressed confidence that the campaign structure would enhance coordination, improve engagement with party members and voters, and position the party for success in the 2027 governorship election.
He urged all appointees to work with dedication, unity and integrity, stressing that collective effort would be essential to achieving the party’s goal of reclaiming power in Oyo State.
Alli also called on APC members and supporters to remain united and committed to the party’s vision, saying the campaign organisation would continue to accommodate more stakeholders as preparations for the election progress.
