The Kaduna State Police Command has recovered 332 suspected counterfeit $100 notes and a stolen jeep valued at about N70 million during separate operations across the state.
Police also recovered nine locally fabricated firearms, a pump-action rifle and other suspected stolen vehicles, while several suspects were arrested in connection with the operations.
According to the command, three suspects were arrested while allegedly attempting to sell the stolen black GMK Jeep for N4 million after allegedly preparing it to be dismantled and sold as spare parts.
In another operation, police arrested a suspect allegedly found with the counterfeit foreign currency and six suspected fake N1,000 notes.
The Kaduna Police Command said investigations were ongoing, with efforts underway to arrest other suspects linked to the recovered items.
