The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke to focus on defending his administration’s performance instead of blaming President Bola Tinubu and former governor Adegboyega Oyetola for his political challenges ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
The Osun APC said Adeleke’s repeated allegations against Tinubu and Oyetola were attempts to divert attention from issues affecting his administration, insisting that the governor should present his achievements to voters rather than engage in blame games.
The ruling party also maintained that Adeleke’s endorsement of President Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election should not be used as a political shield or excuse to avoid campaigning for his own re-election.
The APC further called for an issue-based campaign, urging political actors to focus on policies and governance instead of making accusations that could heighten political tension in the state.
