Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has celebrated the Court of Appeal’s decision affirming the legal standing of the Accord Party, urging members and supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the Osun governorship election.
Adeleke described the judgment as a positive development for the party and called on Accord supporters across the state to strengthen their engagement at the grassroots level as preparations for the election continue.
The Court of Appeal had overturned the earlier judgment of the Federal High Court seeking the deregistration of Accord and other political parties, restoring their recognition and participation in Nigeria’s political space.
Following the ruling, Adeleke urged party members to remain united and focused on building a stronger political structure across Osun State.
He said the victory had provided renewed momentum for the party, encouraging supporters to work towards achieving success through effective mobilisation and wider public engagement.
The development comes amid increased political activities ahead of the Osun governorship election, with political parties intensifying campaigns and strengthening their structures across the state.
Adeleke thanked supporters for their commitment and urged them to remain dedicated to the party’s vision as Accord continues its preparations for the upcoming electoral contest.
