Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has said he is closely following the governance footsteps of former governor and Senator representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel.
Abiodun made the remark while speaking at a public event in Ogun State, where he praised Daniel’s contributions to the development of the state.
The governor described the former governor as a leader whose administration laid important foundations for Ogun State’s growth, adding that his own government remains committed to building on those achievements.
Abiodun noted that continuity in governance is essential for sustainable development and assured residents that his administration would continue to implement policies and projects that improve the welfare of the people.
Gbenga Daniel, who served as governor of Ogun State from 2003 to 2011, is currently a senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District.
