The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has said President Bola Tinubu’s administration is making strategic investments in infrastructure and human capital development to achieve its target of building a $1 trillion Nigerian economy.
According to Vanguard, Yilwatda said the Federal Government’s ongoing investments in critical infrastructure, education, healthcare and skills development are laying the foundation for long-term economic growth and national competitiveness.
He noted that no nation can achieve sustainable economic transformation without investing in its people and expanding infrastructure capable of supporting industrialisation, innovation and private sector growth.
The APC chairman maintained that the Tinubu administration’s economic reforms are designed to create an enabling environment for businesses, attract investment and generate employment opportunities across key sectors of the economy.
Yilwatda expressed confidence that the administration’s policies would accelerate Nigeria’s journey towards becoming a $1 trillion economy, urging Nigerians to remain supportive of ongoing reforms despite current economic challenges.
He added that continued investment in infrastructure and human capital would improve productivity, strengthen economic resilience and position Nigeria for sustained growth in the coming years.
