Two Killed, Two Escape Unhurt in Ogun Road Crash

Two people lost their lives while two others escaped unhurt in a fatal road crash at Ogere Junction along the Ijebu Ode-Benin Expressway in Ogun State on Thursday morning.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said the accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday at Ogere Junction on the busy expressway. According to the Ogun State Sector Command of the FRSC, the crash claimed the lives of two occupants, while two others survived without injuries.

The victims were confirmed dead at the scene, while the survivors escaped the accident unhurt. FRSC officials responded promptly to evacuate the victims and clear the obstruction to restore the free flow of traffic along the highway.

The corps also urged motorists to exercise caution, obey traffic regulations, avoid excessive speed, and ensure their vehicles are roadworthy to prevent avoidable crashes on the nation’s highways.
