Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, has condemned the killing of Kano-based political commentator Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu, calling for a thorough investigation into the incident.
Obi described the killing as disturbing and urged security agencies to ensure that those responsible are identified and brought to justice.
Dan Shagamu was reportedly killed in Kano, with the incident generating reactions from political figures and other Nigerians. The Kano State Police Command has since arrested two suspects in connection with the killing.
