Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has dismissed speculation of a rift between him and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, insisting that their relationship remains cordial and focused on the progress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Kaduna State.
Abbas addressed the rumours while speaking on the sidelines of the distribution of 60,000 bags of fertiliser under the Renewed Hope Fertiliser Distribution 2026 Programme in Zaria. He described reports of a disagreement between the two political leaders as baseless, stressing that they share mutual trust and a common commitment to the development of the state.
The Speaker urged party supporters to avoid actions capable of creating unnecessary divisions, saying political differences should never outweigh the collective interest of the APC or the wellbeing of Kaduna residents. He called on members to remain united ahead of the 2027 general elections.
