Bolaji Abdullahi, a former minister of sports and the ADC’s acting spokesperson, has attacked President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” claiming it has turned into a place of suffering and despair.
According to him, Nigeria’s present suffering, insecurity, and breakdown of accountability in governance are signs that the ruling All Progressives Congress, or APC, has failed.
“In two years, hope has become hopelessness. You know? I mean, look at the parameters. Look at the parameters,” he said.
He claimed that rather than pursuing power for its own sake, the coalition was working to create a political party with a strong foundation in discipline, equity, and internal democracy. He described the ADC as a means of creating a values-based party that will endure beyond its current members and endure.
