Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, the senator for Katsina Central, has refuted reports that he intends to leave the All Progressives Congress, or APC.

In a statement issued on Sunday evening, Yar’adua refuted the rumors that he would be joining the African Democratic Congress, or ADC.

The lawmaker described the speculations as baseless and the product of media scheming.

Additionally, Yar’adua emphasized that he still supports President Bola Tinubu and the APC.

“I wish to categorically reaffirm my unwavering commitment and support for the All Progressives Congress (APC),” the statement said.

“I urge the media to disregard any speculative headlines suggesting my defection from the party.

“It’s essential to clarify that not all individuals sharing the Yar’Adua surname imply a political association with me,” he continued.
