Sa’idu Adamu, the state secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, has been suspended due to allegations of serious misconduct and anti-party activities.
This was stated in a statement released in Kaduna on Monday and signed by Maria Dogo, the party’s state publicity secretary.
The statement claims that at a meeting at the party secretariat in Kaduna, the State Working Committee of the party made the decision and the State Executive Committee approved it.
According to the statement, the action complies with the PDP Constitution’s (2017 as amended) Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3).
It further stated that Adamu’s suspension, which takes immediate effect, will last for one month pending the outcome of investigations and subsequent decisions of the party.
During the suspension , the PDP further prohibited him from taking part in any party activities at any level.
“The PDP wishes to assure its members and the general public that the party remains resolutely committed to upholding internal discipline, fairness, and justice under the able leadership of the State Chairman, Edward Masha.
According to the statement, “the ongoing efforts of the State Working Committee are aimed at strengthening the party’s structures and ensuring accountability across all ranks.”
