Adegboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, has reiterated that the All Progressives Congress, or APC, is prepared to retake Osun State in 2026.
At a special prayer session held in Iragbiji on Monday to commemorate his 71st birthday, Oyetola provided the assurance.
The former state lead representative of Osun State praised the state’s APC members for their commitment to the party’s advancement, togetherness, and loyalty.
“We are committed and fully prepared to return our great party, the APC, to government in Osun come 2026,” Oyetola declared.
He also expressed happiness at the peace and cohesion within the ranks of the party, describing it as a major strength that would aid its return to power.
According to him, “Your unwavering commitment to the unity, oneness and progress of the party keeps us going and strengthens our collective resolve.”
As the party gets ready for the upcoming election cycle, Oyetola also advised APC leaders and members throughout the state to maintain their resolve and concentration.
He pointed out that the APC’s prior achievements demonstrated the party’s tenacity and resolve in keeping its commitments.
The Minister expressed appreciation to his supporters and the organisers of the birthday prayer session, describing their gesture as worthy and deeply appreciated.
The Minister reaffirmed his belief that, through unity and consistency, the APC would reclaim Osun State in the forthcoming 2026 gubernatorial election.
