Former Kano State Governor and NDC vice-presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has joined TikTok, promising to share updates and exclusive content about his daily life with Nigerians.
Kwankwaso announced his arrival on the platform in a post on his X account on Wednesday, urging Nigerians to follow and engage with his videos.
“I am on TikTok! I encourage you all to follow me there for authentic information, the latest updates, and exclusive contents directly related to my daily life,” he said.
In a video posted alongside the announcement, Kwankwaso welcomed TikTok users to his account and encouraged them to turn on notifications, follow and share his content.
“Hello TikTokers, welcome to our TikTok account. Turn on your notifications, follow us, share our video, thank you, and God bless you,” he said.
His move to TikTok comes as political actors increasingly use social media platforms to communicate directly with voters and build stronger connections with younger Nigerians.
Kwankwaso is expected to contest as the running mate to NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi in the forthcoming presidential election.
