The Benue State branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has promised to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and State Lead Representative Hyacinth Alia in their bid for reelection in 2027.
Chief Benjamin Omale, the APC Chairman in Benue, made this statement following the Tiavnyam Development Foundation’s (TDF) Sunday award ceremony and Thanksgiving Mass held at St. Veronica’s Parish in Agidi, Akpagher-Mbatiav, in honor of the state governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia.
The event was to celebrate State lead representative Alia’s achievements as governor of the state in the last two years.
Speaking to reporters, Omale praised TDF for recognizing Governor Alia with an outstanding award, calling it a testament to his efforts to provide the people with the benefits of democracy.
“It also indicates that the people of the state are happy with the administration of the governor. The award has also shown that the governor is enjoying massive support and love from the people of the state,” he remarked.
Omale congratulated the state lead representative, Alia, and promised the party’s continuing support for his administration and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It is not over until it is over,” he said, thanking TDF for the honor bestowed upon the governor and asking them to keep helping him win reelection.
Omale also pledged that the Benue APC would support any group, person, or community that identifies with the administration of Governor Hyacinth Alia and supports the reelection of both Governor Hyacinth Alia and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He said that by constructing good roads and offering top-notch healthcare, education, and agriculture, among other things, the APC government under Fr. Alia will keep bringing the benefits of democracy to the people of the state.
