The ADC flagbearer expressed deep frustration over the country’s political direction, arguing that another APC triumph in the 2027 elections would signal a continuation of policies he believes have worsened economic hardship and weakened public confidence in governance.
The statement has added fresh intensity to the political atmosphere in Jigawa, where Governor Umar Namadi has already secured the APC’s endorsement as the party’s consensus governorship candidate for the next election cycle.
Rather than focusing solely on his personal political ambition, the ADC candidate framed his remarks as a reflection of what he described as growing dissatisfaction among many Nigerians struggling with economic challenges and governance concerns. He maintained that the 2027 election would be a defining moment for both Jigawa State and the country.
