A youth support group within the All Progressives Congress has announced plans to establish a nationwide grassroots mobilisation network ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The Renewed Hope for Youth Development and Empowerment Initiative said it would mobilise 10,000 youth ambassadors across the country to promote the policies and achievements of the President Bola Tinubu administration.
The group disclosed this during the launch of the initiative in Abuja, where its President, Abayomi Odediran, said the ambassadors would operate across the 774 local government areas.
According to Odediran, the youth volunteers would engage Nigerians in communities, markets and on social media platforms as part of efforts to communicate the administration’s programmes.
He said the group was also targeting 20 million votes for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, with its mobilisation strategy expected to extend to wards across the country.
The organisation also announced plans to work with Federal Government agencies to provide skills acquisition opportunities, grants and loans to at least one million young people before the 2027 election.
Odediran said the initiative would use its youth ambassadors to explain what the group described as the achievements of the Tinubu administration and promote the Renewed Hope agenda.
The mobilisation plan is expected to cover all six geopolitical zones, with the group saying its activities would extend from Sokoto to Bayelsa and from Borno to Lagos.
The development comes as political parties and support groups intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
