The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has been accused by Emmanuel Ogidi, the National Vice Chairman (South-South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), of using hunger as a weapon against Nigerians.
“APC has used hunger to weaponize the people, including members of the PDP. People are so hungry now. We all know why PDP members are defecting, but we have a strong belief they’ll come back.
“Some of these state lead representatives, senators, or whatever you call them don’t have patience; that’s the truth. Our convention is in November, less than three weeks away. Why think that it would not hold?
“Yes, we are in court, but why lose hope that the court would go against the convention? If you have done the correct thing, the court will give you justice. So I don’t know why people are worried. I am not worried because we have followed due processes,” he pointed out.
