No Reason To Hate Tinubu, Says Sam Amadi

Sam Amadi, the former head of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), has warned against harboring animosity toward President Bola Tinubu.

Amadi asked detractors to concentrate on Tinubu’s policies and politics instead.

Amadi stated in a post on social media on Tuesday that it was pointless to disparage Tinubu personally just to have someone with same governance flaws take his place.

He pointed out that the opposition to former President Goodluck Jonathan made the similar error.

Amadi emphasized that opposing Tinubu’s political approach and advocating for a leader who is essentially different from him is the right thing to do.

He stated: “There is no sense in hating Tinubu as a person and bringing someone who is as heinous in politics and governance as him. That is what we did against @GEJonathan.

“Hate Tinubu’s politics & polices and bring someone who is very different from him. That is what is rational & honest.”
