Ahmed Wadada, the senator for the Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone, has formally returned to the All Progressive Congress (APC) after formerly serving with the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Prior to joining the SDP to run for the Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone in 2023, where he was elected, Wadada was a member of the APC.

This was stated in a signed letter sent to the APC Chairman in Tudun Kofar Ward, Keffi, on Tuesday in the Keffi local government area of Nasarawa state.

Wadada said in the letter titled “Notification of my return to the All Progressive Congress”, which was dated Tuesday, that the decision was made after giving it considerable thought and that he wanted to help the party succeed.
