Only a political fool will take President Bola Tinubu for granted, according to Dan Ulasi, a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ulasi revealed that Tinubu thinks strategically and should not be taken for granted.
Featuring in an interview , the PDP chieftain said only an astute-thinking politician like the former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, can defeat Tinubu.
Ulasi maintained that during his tenure as governor of Anambra State, Obi had a record that could not be accomplished quickly.
He said: “When you run a government for six years, what was spectacular in his six years? He was in PDP and I met him more than five times when he was president, I don’t want to discuss that, but there has to be something extraordinary you offer as a leader because leadership is all about results and not speech-making or creating enemies.
You must have a point of reference. Take a look at Peter Obi’s eight years as governor; he successfully combined health and education; this is not something that can be accomplished quickly.
The person who is the president of Nigeria today is a strategically thinking person, and anybody who takes him for granted is a political fool. I’m one person who doesn’t take Tinubu for granted.
You need a politician with a sharp mind to take on him, and Peter Obi becomes relevant at that moment because he is well-liked by many people in this country.
He is one politician to whom no accusation has been made against him.
