Bolaji Abdullahi, a former minister of sports and the ADC’s acting spokesperson, has attacked President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” claiming it has turned into a place of suffering and despair.

“In two years, hope has become hopelessness. You know? I mean, look at the parameters. Look at the parameters,” he said.
He claimed that rather than pursuing power for its own sake, the coalition was working to create a political party with a strong foundation in discipline, equity, and internal democracy. He described the ADC as a means of creating a values-based party that will endure beyond its current members and endure.
