Senator Abdulhamid Malam-Madori, who represents the Jigawa North East Senatorial zone, has warned potential candidates eyeing Danmodi’s position in the 2027 elections not to waste their efforts, stating that there is “No Vacancy in Jigawa Government House.”
During a Citizens and Government Engagement Programme held in Birniwa Local Government Area last Sunday, he emphasized that there are no openings for those aspiring to enter the governorship race in Jigawa State in 2027.
“Governor Namadi deserves a second term to build upon his achievements and ensure continuity in governance, given his exceptional performance,” he remarked.
As the Senate Committee Chairman on Police Affairs, Malam-Madori expressed his support for Namadi’s re-election campaign and encouraged politicians in the state to unite in backing the governor rather than opposing him.
Being a dedicated member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Malam-Madori’s endorsement is significant, and his appeal for support may impact the party’s nomination process.
Regarding his accomplishments, Senator Malam-Madori reported that he has initiated over 68 impactful projects valued at more than N5 billion to enhance the welfare of his constituents.
He also mentioned that he provided a new patrol van worth N1.5 million to each of the eight Police Divisional Headquarters within his Jigawa North-East Senatorial Zone.
Additionally, he has facilitated the installation of several motorized boreholes and the electrification of key towns, along with creating employment opportunities for the youth in his constituency, among other initiatives.
He assured his constituents of continued benefits from democratic governance.
