The Chief Executive of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo has directed contractors in the State to return to sites and with immediate effect to fix the failed portions of roads inside the Benin metropolis.

Lead Representative Okpebholo gave this directive in Benin City the Edo State capital during an assessment visit to the Upper Mission Extension Road by Aduwawa junction, and the Ramat Park Axis in Benin City barely 24 hours after he was sworn-in.

The Lead Representative, who criticized the terrible condition of the roads, reassured the people that work would start right away, as he was in a rush to bring the dividends of democracy to the people.

A portion of the areas where work is supposed to start promptly include the 7.5km Temboga Road, Lucky Way Junction by Aduwawa, and Ramat Park – Slope Axis.

Different parts of the State capital to experience prompt mobilization of contractors are Eyaen Road and Obadan Intersection along the Benin – Auchi Expressway.
