The Chairman of The Ondo State Public Complaints, Financial Crimes, and Anti-Corruption Commission (SPFACC), Justice Williams Akintoroye says the commission has gotten 36 petitions over the most recent seven months.

Justice Akintoroye dropped this clue in an enclosed interview with newsmen in Akure, the state capital.

As per him, the petitions incorporate both written and oral complaints and cover cases involving government officials right now being scrutinized.

He expressed that all complaints before the commission are appropriately scrutinized, adding that the commission is completely dedicated to transparency and impartiality.

Justice Williams noted that 75% of investigations have been finished on the cases, while specific cases are fit to be sent to the Ministry of Justice for indictment.

He further uncovered that all investigations on the cases stay exhaustive, with criminal matters carefully checked on in association
with similar agencies, including the Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency (OYACA) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

The resigned jurist requested for additional resources, such as expanded office space, more vehicles, and increased staff to upgrade the Commission’s efficacy.

He revealed that the commission is working on unveiling an official website to allow petitioners to remotely file their complaints.
