Two Nigerian Air Force members and two civilians have been detained by Kaduna State Police Command operations for allegedly participating in the torture and death of a gas station attendant.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, confirmed that address has been made.
According to sources, the manager of the Albash filling station on Kaduna Airport Road, Amina Abdurrazaq, turned up the deceased, Joseph Fada, to two Air Force soldiers at a checkpoint for allegedly embezzling N335,000 from gasoline sales.
According to police sources, the man was allegedly tortured into unconsciousness while being held overnight by Air Force officers from the Nigerian Air Force’s 413 Force Protection Group in Kaduna.
After that, he was taken to a nearby pharmacy, where he passed away while receiving care.
The accused, two NAF members, Archibong Udoh and Ayodele Blessing, were taken into custody following the case’s transfer from the airport division, according to the Kaduna police spokesperson.

According to Hassan, the Nigerian Air Force and the police are collaborating to make sure that justice is served.
However, he said that the deceased’s body has been placed at the mortuary for an autopsy, and the suspects have been placed under arrest to allow for additional investigation.
