A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, Honourable Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, asserted on Sunday that no political coalition can hinder President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
He argued that the recent shift of some APC members to other political parties does not pose a threat to the political stability of the president or the ruling party.
Oyintiloye, who previously served as the representative for Obokun State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, made this statement in a communication sent to journalists in Osogbo.
Characterizing defections as a typical occurrence in politics, the former lawmaker emphasized that it would be a significant error to believe that the departure of these “so-called APC members” would impact the president’s prospects in 2027.
He urged those who doubt the president’s ability to secure victory in the upcoming election to reconsider, asserting that Tinubu possesses an inherent winning strategy.
Highlighting the extensive network of positive relationships that Tinubu has cultivated across various geopolitical zones, he remarked, “Regardless of the circumstances, no political alliance can prevent the president’s re-election in 2027.
“Those conspiring against him in anticipation of 2027 should take the time to understand the president’s character. He has a winning strategy and is fostering goodwill among individuals throughout Nigeria. His accomplishments, political acumen, and dedication to the nation will advocate for him both now and in the future.
“The president will prevail, and his political adversaries will come to recognize the errors in their opposition. Those inciting sentiments against him should reflect on his track record, achievements, and widespread popularity across Nigeria.
“Tinubu’s political fortitude, extensive connections, influence, and resilience, which enabled him to overcome numerous challenges to win in 2023, will undoubtedly carry him through in 2027.”
