President Bola Tinubu has passed over sincere sympathies to parents, guardians, and families who lost loved ones in a fire outbreak that stretched into an Islamic school in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, on Tuesday night.
Tinubu, in a statement endorsed by his media aide, Bayo Onanuga, sympathized with the state government and owners of the school and prayed for the quick recuperation of those getting medical attention.

The President urged all public and private schools to focus on children’s safety and security at all times, and directed regulatory bodies in the education sector to guarantee compliance with safety norms.
He prayed that God Almighty would grant eternal rest to the souls of the departed and comfort to their loved ones.
No less than 17 children lost their lives during the fire outbreak at an Islamiya school.
A resident of the area, Abdulrasaq Bello Kaura, said the fire which began on Tuesday night likewise injured 16 other students at the school.
