Within two weeks, the committee is supposed to call the summit and provide its report.
Senators Ireti Kingibe, Idiat Oluranti, Mpigi Barinada, and Babangida Hussaini are among the other members of the committee. Senators Mohammed Tahir Monguno, Titus Zam, Ahmad Lawan, Abdulaziz Yaradua, Gbenga Daniel, Isah Jibrin, Osita Ngwu, and Jimoh Ibrahim have also been appointed.
Senators Austin Akobundu, Buba Shehu Umar, Abdulhamid Malam Madori, Emmanuel Udende, Adams Oshiomhole, and Saliu Afolabi will also be on the committee.
Key players in the country’s security architecture are anticipated to convene for the scheduled conference in order to create a coordinated and long-term strategy for addressing insecurity nationwide.
