Security Agencies Will Determine Natasha’s Arrest — Kogi Commissioner

Kogi State’s Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, stated that it is up to security agencies to decide if Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan should face arrest for allegedly breaching Governor Usman Ododo’s order prohibiting processions in the North Central state.

Fanwo expressed this during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today program on Tuesday, noting, “The governor issued a directive, and the security agencies were instructed to enforce it.”

He added, “If an individual has contravened this directive, the security agencies do not require further instructions from the governor; they are aware of their responsibilities.”

“Only the security agencies can determine whether to arrest the senator; they are familiar with their operational procedures. While I am not a police officer, I am confident that she should be questioned regarding her alleged incitements.”
