Edo State Lead Representative, Monday Okpebholo, has disintegrated the Governing Councils of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
Revealing this in an assertion, the Chief Press Secretary to Edo State Lead representative, Fred Itua, said Okpebholo likewise broke down the Councils of all state-owned tertiary institutions.
He mentioned that the Lead Representative likewise endorsed the disengagement of the Management Staff of Edo Specialist Hospital and Stella Obasanjo Hospital, Benin City with prompt impact.
“It is thusly declared for the information of the public that the Lead Representative of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo has endorsed the disintegration of the Governing Councils of all State-owned Tertiary Institutions in Edo State with prompt impact,” the assertion read.
The justification for the disintegration by the lead representative was not expressed.
“In like manner, all affected individuals of the Governing Councils of all State-owned Tertiary Institutions are to surrender all Government properties in their control to their respective Heads of the Institutions.
“It is thus declared for the information of the public that the Lead Representative of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo has endorsed the disengagement of the Management Staff of Edo Specialist Hospital and Stella Obasanjo Hospital, Benin City which takes effect immediately.
“Considering the above mentioned, the Management Staff of the previously mentioned hospitals are to also hand over all Government properties in their control to the most senior official in their various Institutions.”
