Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, commonly referred to as JANDOR, who previously served as the gubernatorial candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This announcement was made during a press briefing yesterday, where he articulated that his choice was motivated by a commitment to the advancement of Lagos State and a conviction that solidarity among progressive factions is crucial for fulfilling the shared goals of the populace.
He elaborated that his involvement with the PDP during the 2023 gubernatorial election stemmed from a genuine intention to secure victory for the party and to serve the residents of Lagos State.
Nevertheless, he expressed that aligning with the APC provides a more effective platform to realize his commitments to good governance for all citizens of Lagos.
JANDOR also expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and Seyi Tinubu, the President’s son, for their support in facilitating his transition to the APC.
