Senator Ahmad Lawan President of the 9th Senate, had commissioned a new state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Yobe State Specialist Hospital, Gashua.
The ICU was built by Senator Lawan is the second in Nigeria, with the first situated in Ekiti State.
Senator Lawan, who represents Yobe North Senatorial District, during the commissioning gave a brand new ambulance medical clinic to empower it to deal with emergencies.
Talking at the occasion, Senator Lawan expressed the emergency unit worked out of his obligation to further developing medical care results, as need might arise for upgraded medical care administrations in his senatorial region.
He stated, “As a delegate of the people of Yobe North Senatorial District, I have witnessed firsthand the pressing need for enhanced healthcare services in our communities.
“The absence of adequate critical care facilities has resulted in countless preventable deaths and immeasurable suffering. The acknowledgment of this ICU today is a significant step towards addressing this challenge.”
Senator Lawan unveiled that the ICU is outfitted with the most recent clinical innovation and staffed by profoundly gifted medical care experts.

He complimented the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Buni, for focusing on medical care and giving a few clinical offices across the state.
