Nobel Prize winner Professor Wole Soyinka has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s announcement of a state of emergency in Rivers State.
In a televised interview, Soyinka characterized the move as an overreaction.
Tinubu imposed emergency rule in the resource-rich state on Tuesday in response to the ongoing political turmoil and instability.
