Davido Withdraws From 50 Cent’s UK Concert, Says ‘Africa Must Be Respected’

Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has announced that he is withdrawing from performing alongside Mary J Blige and 50 Cent at the latter’s concert billed for London.

The concert, which is part of 50 Cent’s Legacy tour, is scheduled to be held on July 3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Davido made his decision to pull out of the concert in a statement shared on his Instagram stories on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

The hitmaker clarified that his decision was not a result of poor ticket sales, explaining that “it is a matter of principle and respect for my craft.” He added that the concert would continue as planned, but without him.
