APC Labels Tambuwal Politically Irrelevant

Aminu Tambuwal, the former state lead representative of Sokoto State, has come under fire from the All Progressives Congress, or APC, which calls him “politically retired.”

The onslaught was started by Sadiq Achida, the party’s state chairman, during a press conference in Sokoto on Monday.

Tambuwal had no autonomous political foundation, according to Achida, who asserted that political godfathers, especially Senator Aliyu Wamakko, were responsible for his ascent to prominence.

He believed that, Tambuwal’s political future was bleak.

“No Abuja alliance, no media propaganda, no recycled coalition can revive a politician whose only legacy is propaganda and a collapsed state,” the APC chairman declared.

In order to avoid being held responsible for leaving behind a state beset by unfinished projects, Achida further claimed that Tambuwal declined to legally hand over power to his successor in 2023.
