Popular social-political activist Aisha Yesufu has issued a warning to Nigerians as the alliance against the current government continues to gather steam.
Leading disgruntled politicians from both the North and the South are banding together to oppose President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
A leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chibuike Amaechi, former Vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai are among the political leaders that have pledged to unseat Tinubu in 2027.
Mrs. Yesufu urged individuals to get active in politics in a post on social media on Monday, warning that it should not be left to those with 200 million Naira.
“Dear Nigerians, be the drivers of the coalition. Participate in it. Call the shots! Make demands!” She wrote.
“Ask for seats, tickets! While the usual politicians are positioning for the executive positions, position for the legislative position.
“Who do you want as your state house of assembly members, House of Representatives members, Senators.
“Include those in the coalition discussion.
“Those who can afford to spend 200 million Naira on forms alone should not be allowed to participate in politics.”.”
