The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has reshuffled the leadership of its youth and women mobilisation directorates and created a new directorate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Imo State Governor and Secretary of the campaign council, Hope Uzodimma, announced the appointments in a statement, saying the changes were aimed at improving coordination, strengthening the council’s structure and enhancing operational efficiency.
Under the new arrangement, Farouk Adamu Aliyu has been appointed Director of the Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, while Adejare Bello will serve as co-director.
The council also appointed Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, as Director of Youth Mobilisation, with Dayo Israel named as his deputy.
For the Women Mobilisation Directorate, Mary Aille Idele was appointed director, while Betta Edu will serve as deputy director and Imaan Suleman as secretary.
Uzodimma said the appointments were part of efforts to establish a coordinated and inclusive campaign structure capable of mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
He urged the appointees to bring their experience and organisational skills to their respective assignments and work with other directorates to implement the council’s campaign and mobilisation plans.
The changes come as the ruling party intensifies preparations for the 2027 presidential election, with youth and women mobilisation identified as key components of its campaign strategy.
